Entries close at 8pm on the 4th March. Results will be published between 5th - 6th March
Please note: All entries to The Mane Show will appear in the public domain and by entering you are accepting this condition.
We run an annual points-based ACCUMALATOR competition, giving you the opportunity to win more rosettes and prizes!
Every time you are placed in a class, you are awarded points on the accumulator score board. Full details can be found here.

SCHEDULE
Horses, ponies, donkeys & mules are ALL welcome.
Rosettes to 8th place in each class and the winner receives a prize and free entry into the Arena Championship.
Arena's 1,2 & 3: Photo Classes - Entry Fee: £3.50
Arena 4: Video Classes - Entry Fee: £5

ARENA 1

Class 1 – Best Ridden Horse or Pony (Photos of the horse ridden under saddle)
Open to all breeds and types. To be judged on conformation, way of going, and overall wow factor!
A full body photo is required and you may submit ready-made collage photos if you feel this best shows your horse or pony's type to the judge.
First prize: Prize to first place
Class 2 - Best In Hand Horse or Pony (Photos of the horse inhand)
Open to all breeds and types. To be judged on conformation and overall wow factor!

Class 3 - Best Veteran age 15 + (Horses and ponies over the age of 15)
Ridden, Inhand, at liberty, or driven
You can choose any type of photo that you feel best shows off your veteran horse.
Please include your horses age with your entry.
Ready-made collage photos are allowed.
First prize: An item from The Ripley Collection's Bespoke Equestrian Jewellery.

Class 4 -- Dressage Divas (Open to all types of horses and ponies)
To be judged on the horse’s way of going, position of rider and overall, how pleasing to the eye the combination of horse and rider look. Photos and ready-made collages must show a ridden horse and show you strutting your stuff in the dressage arena, whether at home or at a competition
First Prize: Prize to first place
Class 5 - Best All Rounder (Horses & ponies suitable for a variety of activities)

Ready-made collages are encouraged and should ideally show your horse or pony taking part in a variety of equestrian disciplines.
First prize: A Slow Feed Haynet
Class 6 – Best Cob/Cob Type (Open to ALL types of cob - traditional/show/native/cob types)
To be judged on best example of a cob.
A full body photo is required and you may submit ready-made collage photos if you feel this best shows your horse or pony's type to the judge.

Enter just a SINGLE picture of your equine cantering or galloping

​Class 8 - Arena 1 CHAMPIONSHIP
All those placed 1st or 2nd in classes 1 - 7 will automatically be entered into this Championship class free of charge. The Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded a luxury rosette.
The Champion will go forward to be judged for SUPREME CHAMPION of the show

Class 9 - Condition and Turn out

To be judged on overall condition and presentation of the horse and rider/handler. Show attire not essential.
A full body photo is required and you may submit ready-made collage photos if you feel this best shows your horse or pony to the judge.
First prize: A 1kg tub of 365Complete (a superb high spec feed balancer helping keep horses in peak condition)
Class 10 - . Beautiful Bays & Blacks
A SINGLE FULL BODY photo showing off your horse
Class will be judged on conformation, condition, colour, markings and overall wow factor.

Class 11 – Valentine Special - I Love My Horse Sponsored by The Ripley Collection
A class for our much-loved horses & ponies to celebrate Valentines Day. Photos to show the love and relationship you share with your horse.
Class will be judged on presentation and content.
Single photo or ready-made collage allowed.

Class 12 - Most Scenic
Entrants should submit a SINGLE photo that depicts equestrian themed scenery/scene. Judged on content, presentation and wow factor!

Class 13 - Best Calendar Shot (February)
Submit a SINGLE photo of the best equine calendar shot suitable for the month of February. No edits please. The photo must represent the country you are entering from.

Run in partnership with The International Horse Agility Club. Course plan and judged by Ellen Cochrane Full instructions of course layout need to be followed. Free photo entry to class winner, rosettes to 8th place. Horse Agility Course Plan February
The Horse Agility Accumulator will run from January 2025 - November 2025. Participant need to complete 6 competitions to qualify within the qualifying period. ENTRIES CLOSE ON THE 28th FEBRUARY 8PM

Class Criteria: Entrants to submit an image showing your love and bond you share with your pet.

Class Criteria: Entrants to submit images of undomesticated animals, birds, reptiles and aquatic species included.

Class 25 Best In Show
Best In Show Championship 1st placed entrants from classes 27-33 will automatically be entered in to this championship class free of charge. The overall winner will be crowned Best In Show and there will also be a Reserve. Both will receive a Over the back Sash and Championship Rosette.
Class 26 - SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP - ALL the Arena Champions will be automatically entered into this class
The winner will be crowned "SUPREME CHAMPION" of the show and be awarded a super Luxurious rosette and a Supreme Champion sash.

RULES

You can ride in your everyday tack & clothes, there are no bit restrictions, and you are also welcome to ride bitless

No artificial aids other than martingales are permitted

Whips and spurs are allowed

You do not need to ride in an arena

We encourage everyone taking part in the video showing to update their videos regularly

You are welcome to enter as many classes as you like
VIDEO GUIDELINES
-
Your horse should remain in the centre of the video at all times
-
You should aim for the horse to be filling no more than half of the height of the picture where possible
-
Video in the best possibly quality that your device allows
-
Sound to be recorded
-
The video must remain recording continuously from just before the horse begins until after the final halt
